PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION


This page is set up to provide instructions for the Hikes that will be take place during the event
​on Friday and Saturday evenings!

Hikes are not open to the general public this year. They are only open to those who purchase a ticket for the event. If one wishes to attend a hike, a ticket to the event must be purchased for either or both days of the event.  Limit one hike per ticket purchased and hiking spaces are limited.

Once you purchase your tickets(s) you may RSVP for your choice of which night and group you want to hike.

When you do submit your choice for a hike, please list them in order of which hike you would prefer first, second, third, and fourth. We will do our best to accommodate your first choice


​Any available hike reservations must be made by Aug 10! 
If there are still open spots come the time of the event, they will be made available to those
​who purchased tickets at the event.  
Once all spots on the hikes are filled, we will close the hikes and those not reserved
​will be placed on a waiting list.  

Per the permit, we have for night hiking


***Hikes are limited to 40 per time slot on either night***


Friday Night: Group A 8:00 to 9:30 PM has 36 spaces open
Friday Night Group B 10:00 PM to 11:30 PM 37 spaces open
Saturday Night Group A 8:00 to 9:30 PM has 38  spaces open
Saturday Night Group B 10:00 PM to 11:30 PM 33 spaces open
Once the time slots are filled, we cannot permit anyone else to join.

If there are no shows at the hike registration, people on a waiting list will be offered a chance for that particular hike. 



The Hikes will be led by experienced hikers which will include 
​guest speakers and/or organizers for the event. 

Important Information Regarding the hikes

You will go to the registration table 15 minutes before your registered hike.  They will have directions, gps coordinates, and a liability waiver for each hike attendee.

All those attending the hikes must sign a liability waiver.   For children under 18, an accompanying adult or guardian must sign a waiver on behalf of anyone under 18 years of age. 


The Pennsylvania Bigfoot Camping Adventure and its organizers, hike leaders and Benners Meadow Run Campgrounds are not responsible for any physical injuries,  liabilities, damages, or loss to personal property or vehicles.

You
must drive your vehicle to the designated parking area so please be sure to have your vehicle close by to access and follow the hike leader.

Step-by-step directions to the hike locations and gps coordinates will be given at the registration table before your scheduled hike. 

Groups will follow a caravan from the campground to the designated parking areas. 
You will drive your vehicle to the designated parking areas for the hike.    
The organizers, hike leaders and Benners Meadow Run are not responsible for your vehicles while
parked in the designated areas. 

The area we will be hiking in has trails.  It is strongly suggested that those attending must be physically able to hike over a mile to and from the parked vehicles. 

It is encouraged that you prepare accordingly for all environmental and weather conditions. Please dress appropriately and wear comfortable walking or hiking boots. 

You may bring a walking stick, a bottle of water or canteen, a flashlight, bug spray, a camera or a video recording device.   

Please remain with your group and do not wander off the marked trails by yourself.  





FOR THOSE NOT WISHING TO ATTEND THE HIKES, THERE WILL BE  A CAMPFIRE BEHIND THE PAVILION AND A BIGFOOT MOVIE TO WATCH AT 8:00 PM
